Location: Coldspring Fire Station, Coldspring, Texas

"The San Jacinto County Emergency Services District  (ESD) was created under The State of Texas statues to plan, budget, and oversee the distribution of the taxpayers funds which provide the following services to the county:

---Emergency Medical Services
---Volunteer Fire Departments
---First Responders Medical Assistance


The ESD consists of five commissioners appointed by the County Judge and the County Commissioners.  Currently the ESD is composed of the following Commissioners:


Charles "Jerry" Strouse-President, representing Precinct 1
Shannon Everitt- Secretary-Treasurer, representing At large
Jay Capers-Asst. Treasurer - Representing Precinct 3
John "Freddy" McDowell-Vice President - Representing Precinct 2
Alex Pavlicek - Board member - representing Precinct 4

The ESD holds regular monthly meetings which are open to the public on the third Monday of the month.  Unless otherwise announced, the meetings start at 6:30 PM at the Coldspring Fire Department.   An agenda is published in a public place 72 hours prior to the meeting.  All citizens interested in the San Jacinto emergency services are invited to attend."
